Does insurance cover orofacial myofunctional therapy?
The short answer is—depends! Coverage varies based on your individual insurance plan, what diagnosis you have, where the services are provided, among others. However, determining whether orofacial myofunctional therapy is included in your benefits is worth pursuing. Orofacial myofunctional disorders are often persistent disorders that do not go away without intervention.
